A well planned Sunday school lesson has three parts: 

1) FOCUS/OPENING (“Grab their attention where they are!”)

2) DISCOVERY/EXPOSITION (“Take them where they are going!”)

3) ANSWER/EMPHASIS (“Tell them where they have been!”)
